The Abbey National car insurance quote engine worked very indeed. They ask you to confirm a lot of conditions up front, which is good because you then don’t waste any time getting a quote if they can’t cover you.

The place a small asterix next to the compulsory questions, which not a lot of providers do. This obviously helps to speed the process up if you are in a hurry, as does the smart DVLA lookup facility that they employ on the site.

Only one criticism, it took us a while to register that our quote was on the screen! They quotation screen didn’t really stand out on the prices, three in all, were hidden away at the bottom of the screen.
